Job description

A full time vacancy has arisen for a CCTV Operator. The post holder will be required to work 2 x 12 hour days, followed by 2 x 12 hour nights, followed by 4x rest periods on a rotating shift basis.
We require the post holder to provide a high quality, customer focused service, which strictly complies with legislation, the Code of Practice and operating procedures by proactively monitoring the campus, spotting unusual behaviour, assessing risk, providing evidence and supporting community welfare.

We are therefore looking for candidates who have the ability to learn and be adaptable to changes in procedures and technology, with good observation skills, high levels of concentration and keen attention to detail. Candidates must also be clear and effective communicators, experienced in meticulous record keeping, with the ability to follow verbal and written procedures whilst remaining calm in pressurised situations and maintaining high levels of customer service.

The successful applicant will have English & Maths GCSE or equivalent and be a holder of a First Aid certificate (or show commitment to obtain such).
