We are looking for two enthusiastic people to join Student Registry Services within the Academic Registry to provide a wide ranging and varied high quality administrative support to academics, students and external stakeholders. This post is to provide administrative support for the Student Registry Services, and in particular, for the Student Fees and Funding Team within the service.
The successful applicants will be primarily focused on providing support to students, sponsors, Student Finance, the Student Loans Company and the wider University in relation to student records, tuition fees, Student Loan returns and bursary issues.
You will be applying listening and questioning skills to identify their needs, providing assistance where possible and/or making referrals to specialist team members or other services where appropriate.
The successful applicants will have demonstrable experience of working in a busy office/customer-focused environment; experience of providing complex advice to customers; and experience of customer service, organising, updating and reporting from student records.
Excellent organisation skills and an ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy of work and standards of service are core requirements for this role.
Educated to GCSE Grade C in English and Mathematics or equivalent experiential learning, the successful applicant will have an ability to organise and present information both verbally and written. A flexible attitude to working, whilst being able to work collaboratively with other members of the administrative and academic team, is required. The successful applicant will also be committed to continuous improvement.
