Job description

The University is seeking to appoint two Project Officers to support the delivery of the Upskilling Lancashire multi-partner project funded by the European Social Fund. The successful applicants will actively engage with Lancashire employers and employees to develop new and relevant workforce learning, skills and apprenticeship opportunities through the UpSkilling Lancashire Project.

The Project Officers will be responsible for networking with employers, visiting firms and businesses across Lancashire, undertaking organisation needs analysis and developing capacity building projects that will increase engagement in skills learning and apprenticeships.

Experience of promoting or selling is essential as is experience of working in a business development or customer facing role. Education to degree level or equivalent professional experience is required, as is the ability to plan and organise own work, network in professional settings and work with people of all levels.

The successful candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and have a driving licence.
