The Development & Alumni Relations Office (DARO) is seeking a Prospect Research Officer to support our work in cultivating relationships with alumni, individuals and organisations and in growing philanthropic income for University. The Prospect Research Officer will identify and profile fundraising prospects and existing donors within the UK and internationally. The selected candidate will collaborate with senior fundraisers across all income streams, preparing bespoke solicitation plans for individuals and organisations, prospect lists for fundraising projects, and briefing notes on prospects for university events.

You will be inquisitive, analytical, methodical and self-motivated, with a sharp attention to detail. You will have a good understanding of prospect research methods and resources and Data Protection law, and experience of researching prospects to support fundraisers reach ambitious fundraising targets would be desirable, but aptitude and curiosity is key.
