We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and enthusiastic research-led individual who will make a significant contribution to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in construction programmes. Initially teaching will be in the related areas of construction contract management/administration, construction quantification and costing.
Appointees will be expected and encouraged to develop research programmes complementary to the School’s existing work in this area, which currently include, but are not restricted to: the use of commercial management, building sustainability, cost management, and BIM.
A PhD in a related subject is essential for Senior Lecturer in Quantity Surveying, along with experience of publishing research outcomes. A membership of RICS would be advantageous.
A Postgraduate Certificate in Teaching & Learning in Higher Education, or equivalent qualification and a membership of RICS with relevant industrial experience is essential for Senior Teaching Fellow in Quantity Surveying.
