The Faculty of Education, Health and Community has a long standing and international reputation for providing a range of successful high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and a burgeoning research profile. Within this, the subject area for Education and Early Childhood Studies includes a suite of Education Studies programmes and an Early Childhood Studies programme at undergraduate level, alongside a growing provision at postgraduate level.

The School of Education is committed to the development of an innovative and current academic portfolio and is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Education Studies or Early Childhood Studies with specific experience in Education, Policy and Practice and an interest in child development/psychology, to teach education and childhood modules.

You would be expected to make a broad contribution to the delivery and assessment of undergraduate Education and Early Childhood Studies programmes. You will have an appropriate first degree and a PhD with experience of teaching in Higher Education.
