About this role

An opening has arisen for an experienced Integration Developer to join the Data Service and Integration Team in IT Services. The team is responsible for the development and maintenance of an integration data hub and a complex network of integration routines linking both the University’s internal systems and those of a number of strategic external partners.

The roles involve working with business users and IT colleagues to define integration requirements, and to convert these into reality. As part of this work, developers will be expected to adhere to governance processes aimed at ensuring data security protocols are maintained.

The work will comprise of both providing day-to-day support and development, and, potentially, short- and medium-term assignment to a number of on-going strategic projects.

Essential role requirements:

  • Technically, advanced knowledge of:
  • SQL
  • WebMethods
  • SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS).

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of the Calopus integration tool would also be preferred.

Previous experience of working in a Higher Education environment would be a distinct advantage.
