Location: NHS Blood and Transplant centre, Filton
The Faculty of Life Sciences is looking to appoint a capable administrator to support the front-line delivery of the MSc programme in Transfusion and Transplantation Sciences at the NHS Blood and Transplant centre in Filton.
You will need to be a capable and independent self-starter, able to use your initiative, as you will be working mainly on your own on a day-to-day basis, with close support available from the rest of the Faculty Graduate Hub team who are located in the main university campus.
The role will involve dealing with face to face queries from students and staff, liaising with and organising arrangements for visiting staff, and dealing with basic student administration.
You should have excellent customer-service, reception and administration skills. You should also have excellent communication skills, as the role will involve daily contact with students, academic and technical staff. Previous recent experience in a busy office setting is essential.
You must be available to work from 9.00-12.30pm Monday- Friday, and the ability to be flexible to occasionally change this pattern to include an afternoon (as operationally required) would be desirable.
