The Faculty of Science and Engineering at Manchester is pioneering research to help make the world better. This is an exciting opportunity to support our world-leading researchers and develop your career in research administration as a Research Support Officer.

Research Support Officers assist in the delivery of an integrated and effective research support service that maximises our ability to attract researchers and research income, undertake high quality research, and exploit research outcomes.

You will work with as part of a team of colleagues within the Faculty’s Research Support Services team to deliver a high quality and customer-focussed service supporting the development of research and other externally funded projects in the widest sense.

Strong numeracy skills and a high level of accuracy will be essential. You will also have a high standard of communication and a flexible, cooperative and creative approach to work. Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills and the ability to meet deadlines are also essential. Experience of research support administration is highly desirable.
