An opportunity has arisen within The Division of Nursing, Midwifery and Social Work to join a dynamic team delivering undergraduate adult nursing education. These posts are offered on the basis of a Teaching and Scholarship OR Teaching and Research contract, full-time and on a permanent basis.

We wish to appoint three enthusiastic and innovative individuals to contribute to the provision of high-quality teaching and scholarship on pre-and post-registration nursing programmes within the Division. We are seeking candidates with experience of nurse education, either in the classroom or practice settings, and with a background in any area of adult nursing, however, applicants with expertise in one or more of the following areas would be particularly welcome:

Medicines management and nurse prescribing
Acute care
Primary care and/or community nursing

You will be responsible for teaching, examining and assessing designated subjects and modules within the Division and ensure that all areas for which you have the responsibility, develop learners with professional, educational and clinical competence.

If you currently work in a clinical setting and wish to continue to do so on a part-time basis, we are open to negotiating flexible arrangements. The posts are available immediately.
