£53,734 to £61,691 inclusive of London Weighting Allowance

We are looking for Head of Learning & Teaching to join the Roehampton Business School. You will contribute to the Business School’s mission to generate internationally acclaimed and world-leading (3* and 4*) research and the development of ‘business ready’ graduates by delivering outstanding, research-inspired learning & teaching that develops knowledge, skills, the ability to think critically, innovate and act responsibly. You will join a growing Business School, working within one of three Subject Clusters.

You will have effective people management skills, a problem-solving approach and the ability to lead and manage change programmes. You will have a solid background in delivering inspirational learning and teaching (including a proven record in developing technology enhanced learning), leading innovative course development (in a business related area) and supporting quality enhancement in higher education. The capacity to develop and implement strategies to enhance learning (including work-based learning), teaching and assessment practice (including integration of formative assessment) across the School will be essential.

This is an exciting time for the University; our new £35m state-of-the art library has just opened and we are continuing to develop a number of external partnerships across the globe.

We have a strong emphasis on supporting our students to reach their full potential in order to launch themselves onto successful graduate careers and we are embarking on a radical programme of enhancement in learning and teaching across all our academic areas.
