The Institute for Lifecourse Development is seeking a talented research fellow to support Institute and Faculty projects funded by the Higher Education Initiative Fund (HEIF) and to work with staff across the Institute to develop new research and enterprise. The research fellow will also work with the Director of the Institute for Lifecourse Development on identifying and supporting public engagement and impact arising out of research projects. We are looking for applicants with evidence of successful publishing, forming and supporting networks and attracting funding. Research and enterprise in the faculty includes work in Education, Health, Social Care, Social Policy and Psychology and involves partners in the voluntary and statutory sectors. The successful applicant will work in the Institute and across the faculty and will be expected to be skilled researcher in one of more of these disciplines with significant experience of the application of research, working independently and supporting others.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a new Institute for Lifecourse Development committed to growing research and enterprise and to contribute to the development of new and existing projects. We are particularly keen to attract applicants with advanced knowledge and experience of, project management, enterprise, research methodologies and sound methodological skills; the ability to work effectively a research team is essential.
