Design Engineer (Smart Sensors) - KTP Associate

This is a great opportunity to apply your mechanical, mechatronics, electronics engineering and design expertise in an ambitious two-year project and become a key part of the future strategy of CheaperGroup, the UK’s fastest growing waste management service provider. 

CheaperGroup are working in partnership with Northumbria University to explore the future of smarter and more adaptable systems. You will benefit from the full support and guidance of a project team from the Company and the University and will  lead and drive the project.  

CheaperGroup is ‘the business for business’, supplying some of the UK’s most commercially savvy focussed enterprises with essential services. This KTP project will develop a 'smart waste' system incorporating new product(s) and services, that will help CheaperGroup introduce new ways of working more closely with their customers.  

You will be at the forefront of developing an innovative embedded smart waste system and providing technical solutions that bring together your mechanical, electronic & instrumentation skills.
