This is an exciting new role if you are looking for a rewarding and challenging opportunity in Lancaster University Management School (LUMS). You will manage the delivery of projects and programmes within the Partnerships and Engagement team.

LUMS has a long-standing reputation for the design and delivery of knowledge exchange initiatives for businesses, both regionally and nationally.  The Management School is currently engaged in a number of externally-funded projects, supporting over 250 businesses each year through the provision of high-quality knowledge exchange activities.
You will have responsibility for managing the delivery of a number of business support programmes including the Made Smarter Leadership Programme. The role encompasses both personally undertaking workshop facilitation to maximise the delegates’ learning journey as well as the management of external associates and internal colleagues.

Highly motivated, you will draw on your experience of overseeing similar activities to lead the project team on the day to running of the programmes through effective planning, dynamic team management and operational process improvement. You will have proven skills in stakeholder management and possess the ability to communicate with a range of people from a variety of backgrounds, including engaging academic colleagues, external associates and business leaders.

You will need a high degree of professionalism, an eye for detail and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. An ability to work effectively as part of a team is essential along with excellent administration and IT skills.

The post is fixed until 31 March 2021 in the first instance.
