The Department, presently offering BSc, MSc, MPhil, and PhD programmes, invites outstanding applicants for the following position.

Research Assistant Professor (PR0388/19-20)

The appointee will be provided with a conducive research environment, and is expected to perform group-based high-impact research and undertake some teaching duties.  He/She should possess a PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field, and have abilities to conduct high-quality research in one of the following research areas: (i) parallel and distributed computing, (ii) networking, (iii) deep learning systems and (iv) 3D computer vision.

Initial appointment will be made on a fixed-term contract up to two years.  Re-appointment thereafter will be subject to mutual agreement.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
