Job Description 
Candidates with expertise in the area of Theatre and Performance, including Fundamentals of Acting, Performance Design, Directing and Producing, Dramatic Literature and Playwrighting. The candidate is required to give tutorials to students, attend meetings, supervise final year projects, and organize events.

Job Requirement 
The candidate is required to have a PhD degree or at least MFA with teaching experience in Theatre and Performance, or a related discipline. Successful candidates are expected to be committed to excellence in undergraduate or postgraduate teaching. Preference will be given to candidates who have experience on stage, or connection with performing industry.

Appointment Terms

Appointment to this position will initially be made on a fixed-term contract of two years. Commencing salaries will be commensurate with qualifications and relevant experience. Fringe benefits include housing allowance, leave and social insurance. Continuation of appointment beyond the initial term will be subject to mutual agreement.
