The Cooling Energy Science & Technology Lab (CoolestLab) @ NUS invites application for the position of Research Engineer (Passive Displacement Cooling). 

Key Responsibilities 

• Working on a project to develop a passive displacement cooling (PDC) system  
• Performance evaluation and benchmarking of PDC coils, developing the PDC system design 
• Establishing test bed in an office space and benchmarking of energy performances

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Civil Engineering or other related fields 
• Knowledge in building services as well as experience in building cooling industry, test bed setup and system performance evaluation 
• Experience in building energy modelling and simulation is an advantage 
• Ability to work in a team as well as independently 
• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
