Job Description

The School of Design & Environment & Faculty of Engineering are mounting a new common module on Liveable Cities that will be taken by all the students in both faculty and school with effect from Aug 2022. Starting from Aug 2021, this module will run as an elective module for a smaller group of students to experiment with some of the new pedagogical approaches and refinements will then be made before the module is offered to a much larger class of close to 1800. The module involves lecture, studio workshops, fieldwork to the identified sites, project work and presentations.

The teaching assistant (TA) will be involved in the designing and planning of the lessons with the module lead(s) and assisting the studio leaders to facilitate the studio workshops, fieldwork and project work.

Job Requirements

The candidate must have a degree in engineering with relevant background in urban studies or an arts degree majoring in Urban studies or architecture. Candidate with good academic qualifications from well recognised universities will be preferred.

Experience Level:

  • Bachelor of Engineering with Urban Studies background or Bachelor of Arts with Urban Studies major
  • Bachelor of Arts (Architecture)
