The National University of Singapore invites applications for Research Assistant for “Mechanistic study of therapy-resistance in gynaeoncology and its clinical application in molecular prognosis and novel therapeutic strategy in the Department of Biochemistry, Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine with collaboration with basic scinetists and clinician scientists in National University of Singpore and National Cancer Science Institute, Singapore. Appointments will be made on a 1-Yr contract basis from 2 Jan 2022 for the possiblility of extension for 2-3 years. We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic candidate who is able to work together with the Principle Investigator, research staffs and clinical collaborators to provide research support and conduct research project independently.

Main duties and responsibilities

The Research Assistant will be able to:

  1. Provide research support to the project and conduct research project independently; Provide administrative duties such as maintenance of safety documents and housekeep of wet laboratory and supervise junior research staff or undergraduate students/interns;
  2. Conduct literature searches, data analysis as well as assist in preparing both progress and final reports of the project;
  3. Assist with any other duties of a similar nature that are delegated by the PI;
  4. Maintain the highest standard of professional conduct and record keeping in accordance with policies and procedures
