Applications are invited for a Specified Purpose Cover (estimated duration 6 months) post of a Executive Assistant within UCD Registry

The post on offer is in Assessment, which is part of UCD Registry. Assessment is a team of 22 staff members, who work in collaboration with academic and administrative colleagues to support assessment requirements and processes across the University.

The primary functions of the Assessment unit are examination logistics management; grade processing and academic history record management; providing assessment-related advice and support to staff and students; and the administration of research theses and Extern Examiners. The Unit also provides secretariat support to the Academic Council Committee on Examinations (ACCE), which has oversight of assessment practices across the University. The post is customer-focused and provides advice and guidance to staff, students, or other stakeholders. Good interpersonal skills are key, along with the ability to multitask, meet deadlines, maintain a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail in work completion. Applicants must have proven communication, administration, and organisational skills.

The person will also contribute to the process of continuous improvement within UCD Registry to ensure the efficient operation of all teams, as well as contributing to Registry and University vision and values.

95 Executive Assistant\2013 (7911) Salary: 25,945 - €41,094

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
