The Department of English Studies at Durham University seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor in Diasporic Literatures.
The successful candidate will have relevant teaching experience and research interests in anglophone diasporic literatures of any period (or across periods), for example, but not limited to, literatures of the African, Caribbean, East Asian and/or South Asian diasporas. Additionally, interests in women's writing, Black British writing, translation and transcultural studies and/or queer studies will be highly desirable. We value an ability to contribute to the Department's research environment and its societal impact. We also value the capacity to teach beyond your specialism.
