Applications are invited for a Temporary part-time post (Up until 30 June 2023) of a Research Assistant within the UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems.

The UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems is seeking to appoint a Research Assistant to work on the Advanced Breast Cancer for Nurses (ABC4Nurses) programme, funded by the Pfizer Quality of Care Improvement in Metastatic Breast Cancer. People living with advanced breast cancer experience significant physical and psychological symptoms, requiring specialist cancer nursing care. In partnership with people affected by advanced breast cancer, this study aims to develop, deliver, and evaluate a fit for practice, comprehensive, inclusive, and scalable online education programme, teaching European nurses specialist knowledge and skills in advanced breast cancer (ABC) care. In partnership with multiple collaborators throughout the European region, the research assistant will work as part of the team conducting this research.

The successful candidate will work under the supervision and direction of the co-principal investigator, Dr Amanda Drury.

The post will be offered for a period of 18 months on a part-time basis (0.5 full time equivalent). The Research Assistant will be based at the Research Unit, UCD School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health Systems.

Fixed salary: €27,109 per annum pro rata
