About the opportunity

The Western Precinct are seeking an Administration Officer to provide integral support to the administrative operational and education team.

As an Administration Officer, your responsibilities will be to:

  • provide support to the research and operations teams with HR, Finance, IT, and education
  • assist with assessments, marking, Canvas administration, attendance checks, mini clinical examinations, venue bookings, creating agendas, minute taking, and WHS documentation
  • coordinate meetings, including agenda items and minute preparation, venue booking, catering, and IT facilities
  • manage allocations, access, maintenance, and cleaning of building spaces
  • maintain all relevant record keeping, finance support, and coordinating payment and invoice management using Concur, Unibuy, and Mylab transactions
  • managing University affiliations.

About you

As an Administration Officer, you:

  • excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in handling a wide range of enquiries and providing excellent customer service
  • well-developed negotiation, conflict resolution, relationship building and influencing skills
  • executive assistance skills including diary management
  • strong problem-solving skills and the ability to use initiative and exercise sound judgement and ability to prioritise workload during busy periods
  • numeracy skills together with experience in controlling income/expenditure for reconciliation/budget tracking, and managing invoice payments and purchases
  • working knowledge of software programs such as Hyperion Reporting System, Concur, Records Management, and Content Management Systems.
