About the position

Situated within the Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine, the Bond University Medical Program is comprised of two sequential degrees, the Bachelor of Medical Studies and the Doctor of Medicine. The Program is comprised of 14 semesters over the two sequential degrees and is an intensive program which is completed in 4 years and 8 months. The program has full accreditation with the Australian Medical Council and places a strong emphasis on the quality of student experience. The Quality Indicators of Learning and Teaching (QILT) rankings have listed Bond University Medicine number 1 in Australia for student satisfaction with teaching quality, student support and skill development.

The Faculty of Health Sciences and Medicine invites applications from qualified candidates interested in joining the Medicine discipline as a Senior Teaching Fellow of Anatomy on a part-time basis.

Successful candidates will primarily be responsible for workshops and laboratory-based anatomy teaching sessions in Years 1 and 2 of the Bachelor of Medical Studies.

About the person:

Interested candidates will be degree qualified in a relevant discipline at the bachelor level or higher. They will have demonstrable knowledge of human anatomy and experience in teaching anatomy to health professional students.

The 0.4 FTE pro-rata salary for this position is $38, 375 plus 10% superannuation and will be commensurate with skills and experience.
