Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in the Centre for Safe Medication Practice and Research of the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 508692), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in public health, biostatistics, health economics, data science or a related field. They should have knowledge of pharmacoepidemiology and/or pharmacoeconomics, excellent quantitative and analytic skills, and strong communication and writing skills. They should be detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in a team environment. Experience in the management of large data sets and complex analyses using R, SAS or other statistical tools will be an advantage.

The appointee will have the opportunity to work on impactful pharmacoepidemiology and/or pharmacoeconomics projects involving cost-effectiveness analyses, burden of disease and discrete choice experiments. Training will be provided on advanced methods in various areas such as cardiology, psychiatry, anti-infectives, cancer, and gastroenterology.
