Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Technology Law at the Law and Technology Centre at the Faculty of Law (Ref.: 508690), to commence as soon as possible for one year, with the possibility of renewal for up to one additional year subject to satisfactory performance.
The Fellow is expected to participate actively in technology law projects and work closely with Associate Professor Haochen Sun in the Faculty of Law, University of Hong Kong and Professor Anupam Chander of the Georgetown University Law Center. While the Fellow will be expected to work mostly at the University of Hong Kong, he/she will have ample opportunity to visit Georgetown and interact with technology law faculty members there.
The Fellow should possess a J.D. degree or Ph.D. in law; knowledge and ideally experience of issues relating to technology law; strong communication and organizational skills; and exceptional potential to develop a body of high-quality publications in scholarly journals.
A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
