Job Description

• Survey existing approaches on explaining AI-based software systems (including existing techniques on generating finite-state automata, and Markov Chains)
• Define the problem of explaining AI-based software systems, i.e., identify the goal of explanation formally, discuss whether there exists optimal solutions to the problem and what is the complexity
• Propose effective and practical methods for solving the problem, i.e., identify the complexity of the proposed algorithm, its limitations and its strengthen, and propose mitigation plans for domains where the proposed algorithm will have limited applicability

Qualifications

• Minimum PhD’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems or closely related disciplines
• Minimum 4 year of relevant research experience in software testing, program analysis, formal methods, cyber-security or AI
• Knowledge/Proficiency in programming software/languages such as Python is required 
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on AI systems and applications
• Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
• Self-motivated individual who can work independently and also collaboratively with team members
