Applications are invited for the post of Lecturer in the Psychology Department.

We are very pleased to announce the availability of a part-time Lecturer post on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. The post is fairly unique in offering the person appointed the opportunity to work across academic, research and clinical aspects of the Course, including supervising doctoral and masters level research in a clinical area of their choice. The person appointed will have a major role in organizing and overseeing practice placements. This is a really exciting time for clinical psychology, with another substantial expansion of training, and the post offers an opportunity for the person appointed to develop the Course in line with current and future NHS priorities.  They will join a friendly, close-knit team of 15 academic staff and three administrative staff who are committed to training high quality clinical psychologists to meet the psychological needs of the population.  In addition, the DClinPsy is an integral part of a vibrant Psychology Department, which ranks among the top 10 psychology departments for research in the country. The post is a lectureship within the professional practice pathway, which recognises and rewards the applied nature of the work of clinical psychology.   The appointee will have the opportunity to develop their interests in applied areas of clinical psychology.  Applicants should have a doctorate in clinical psychology and relevant experience in the NHS.
