School Placement Officer 

Full-time: 35 hours per week  

Grade 5 : £30,497 to £36,382 per annum

The School Placements Officer will play a key role in relation to student placements. 

The successful appointee will lead, manage and develop the School’s Placement team, ensuring effective and efficient high quality administrative service to colleagues in the School that are engaged in placement activity. Thereby assisting in ensuring a high quality student experience and creating a positive image of the School and University. 

As a key member of the Placement Team, the post holder will be required to nurture and maintain relationships with key health boards, local authority partners and employers. Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to review, design and implement systems and processes to support the development and provision of placements across the school.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or with equivalent experience in a similar role demonstrated through relevant and practical work experience.

This post will be based at Ayr, Paisley or Lanarkshire campus however all colleagues may be required to work at any UWS campus or location from time to time to meet needs of the business.
