Job Description
The successful candidate will perform research in “energy-efficient ultrasonic transmitter/receiver and power management circuit design”.
The candidate will need to
- Design a high-voltage driver, voltage multiplier, instrumentation amplifier and a power management circuit in CMOS which will be integrated as a system and be demonstrated for an integrated ultrasonic system using pMUT array.
- Design, measure and verify test boards and system. The IC design will be based on a team-work, which will involve specification definition, schematic design, layout, verification and MPW tape-out
He/She is also expected to perform following duties:
- On-chip high-voltage TX driver circuit design and verification
- On-chip power management circuit design and verification
- Digital signal processor design and verification
- System integration (IC and packaging) and testing
Qualifications
- Possess a Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical or Electronics Engineering
- Must be experienced in CMOS Integrated Circuits design flow: MUST have taped-out an IC at least once
- Well-versed in CAD tools including, but not limited to, Cadence (Spectre, Virtuoso), Synopsis (Design Compiler and IC compiler), Mentor (Calibre, ModelSIM)
- Must be experienced in designing test PCBs
- Well-versed in both full-custom design and full-synthesis design is a plus
- Open to fixed-term contract
