The Role

  • Continuing, Full Time
  • $100,476 to $119,121 pa (plus 17% superannuation)
  • Wagga Wagga

Make a substantial contribution to the teaching and learning needs of students enrolled in nursing courses and progress an active research profile aligned to the strategic need of the School.

The position will undertake subject delivery through both face to face and online delivery methods and will be expected to contribute to academic administration and ongoing subject development.

Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia is an essential requirement for this position.

To be successful you will have:

  • A doctoral or masters qualification, relevant to nursing
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia
  • Evidence of and a demonstrated commitment to the delivery of high quality student centred learning and teaching
  • A record of research or professional activity relevant to the discipline area of nursing that demonstrates a capacity to make an autonomous contribution

While there is a particular need for high-quality health professionals in regional, rural and remote locations, graduates of the School are also in high demand in urban and metropolitan settings, reflecting as they do the resilience and independent thinking for which rural Australians are known.
