The Centre for Quantum Technologies (CQT) is a research center of excellence at the National University of Singapore doing cutting-edge theoretical and experimental science. We are looking for a Research Fellow in fundamental research on experimental atomic and molecular physics. This candidate is expected to lead a research team of graduate students to conduct studies on an ultracold gas of cold molecules. In particular we are interested in the molecular ground state produced after coherent laser transfer. Basic properties of the dipolar molecules are to be explored, before aiming at quantum simulations based on this molecules loaded in optical lattices.

Job Requirements

• Minimum Qualification: Ph.D. in Physics or its related discipline
• Very good knowledge of molecular physics and precision laser spectroscopy is required.
• The candidate must be experienced in some of the related technologies like diode lasers and optical frequency combs.
