The School of Law and Criminology is situated in the historic world heritage site of the Old Royal Naval College. It is home to over 900 students, studying on our extended, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The School places the student experience at the heart of its approach to teaching and pastoral care and consistently scores extremely well in external student satisfaction surveys.

These vacancies offer an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and committed academics to complement our existing team by making an outstanding contribution to our students’ experience of our teaching and the wider University.

You will work closely with both the Law and Criminology team to help the School of Law and Criminology’s continued dedication to be a place of inclusivity, support and a centre of teaching excellence.

The successful candidates will be expected to provide pastoral and wellbeing support to Law and Criminology students and to be capable of delivering high-quality and inspirational teaching in both Law and Criminology, particularly at the foundational level.

You must be able to demonstrate a strong teaching profile and a proven commitment to the student experience, including enhancing their employability opportunities. We are looking for candidates with energy, enthusiasm and who have a commitment to play a full and active role in the life of the School of Law and Criminology
