The School of Health and Life Sciences is one of the largest integrated schools combining health and life science programmes. Our graduates make an immense contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the globe. 

This post will be based in our new Lanarkshire Campus within the Division of Biological Sciences and Health supporting the highly attractive Biomedical Science undergraduate and postgraduate programmes and contributing to learning, teaching and research across the School of Health and Life Science. Flexibility to travel to other campuses as required is desirable.

As an experienced Biomedical or clinical scientist, you will hold a relevant professional registration and masters qualification.  Experience of working in Biomedical or Clinical Science laboratories and/or a PhD in Biomedical Science area (or be working towards this) are desirable. 

As a lecturer you would be expected to provide strong and effective teaching and evidence-based research in Biomedical Science. Applicants should be able to contribute to the enhancement of the student experience by supporting the organisation and delivery of innovative approaches to learning, teaching and assessment. Working with health and science colleagues to strengthen inter-disciplinary learning across the school. The post holder will contribute to the organisation of practice opportunities and support students in a practice setting. 

Contribution to the development of research and commercialisation in Biomedical Science is expected. An active contribution to the global agenda of the school is also expected, with globalisation of the curriculum and international collaboration being key areas for development.
