Research Engineer, Hardware, SIA-NUS Digital Aviation Corp Lab

Job Description

In this position, you will be working on hardware technologies such as pressure and wearable sensors for collecting motion and physiological data (including local movements such as changes in posture, fidgeting, arousal and sleep) of passengers in a cabin stimulator.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in relevant discipline (Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical and Electronic, Communications, Computer Engineering, Automation, Biomedical Engineering)
  • Experience in sensor technology, wearable technology, embedded system design and using PCB layout software (e.g. Altium Designer and EAGLE).
  • Familiarity with circuit design, signal processing, embedded programming. Previous experience designing successful systems is a plus.
  • Candidate should be organized, meticulous, hardworking and has good communications skills.
  • Candidate should be comfortable working on multiple projects and in a dynamic environment.
  • Candidate should be able to work independently as well as be a team player.
