Extending expertise and excellence

Build new educational partnership initiatives to help drive our business school forward.

Connecting more widely with key businesses and major public sector organisations is a key aim of Southampton Business School’s new strategy. In this varied and challenging role, you’ll work closely with our Director of Enterprise to develop our business interface and partnerships agenda. You’ll help us nurture a range of collaborations that showcase our research impact and generate revenue for the faculty.

You’ll focus on identifying partners, establishing relationships, and developing and promoting our educational services. Constantly on the look-out for ways to embed partnerships and external interactions in the core curriculum, you’ll also initiate a range of non-accredited short courses for the School.

On top of this, you’ll develop your own ideas for a wide range of enterprise activities and partnerships with businesses, and organise ways to connect with the business community, including conferences, seminars and master classes.

You’ll bring significant experience of building and sustaining partnerships in a commercial context. While a background in higher education is not essential, you’ll have a keen appreciation of current trends and issues.  An enterprising self-starter, with strong project management skills, you’ll have the ability to think strategically, plan effectively, and negotiate productive partnerships.
