We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated individual who can join us as a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in Finance/Financial Technology and make significant contributions to the implementation of our research, leadership, and teaching and learning strategy in Accounting, Finance and Economics.

You will need to have a PhD in Finance, Economics [or other relevant areas] and will be joining the Accounting, Finance and Economics (AFE) Research Centre within the School of Management. You will be expected to contribute to the new MSc in Financial Technology (FinTech) programme, in particular, related modules, like, artificial intelligence and machine learning in finance, Fintech regulation and compliance, data analytics, and financial innovation and blockchain, and be experienced in using Python and R among others. You are also expected to contribute to the AFE Research Centre's continuing success through quality research output, delivering excellent learning and teaching experience to our students, and taking on strategic leadership roles. Along with your undergraduate and/or postgraduate teaching, you will need to maintain an excellent research track record of publishing high quality (3/4*) research papers in refereed journals and support the School of Management's reputation and impact of Making a Difference. In addition, you will be expected to contribute to the digital-distance learning degree programmes at the School of Management.
