Research Governance Coordinator (Arts and Sciences)
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual who is looking to further their career in research governance. This is an existing post in a recently expanded team who support both healthy volunteer and patient research across all disciplines within the College.
The role holder will contribute to the effective and efficient support of research and innovation at King’s through the delivery of robust support of the College’s Research Governance agenda. They will need to develop a broad perspective, engaging positively and proactively with both national and College research governance requirements and embracing opportunities to support our researchers to ensure research of the highest quality and standard.
The role holder will provide operational support to the Research Governance Manager by leading and implementing UK General Data Protection Regulation specific work and providing broader research governance support to play a key role in the effective management of human subject research and ensuring that all research is conducted in compliance with the relevant policies and legislation.
The role holder will have, and continue to develop, a knowledge of research governance requirements and engage proactively with a range of stakeholders to understand user needs, resolve issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
