Applications are invited for a temporary post of a IPCOR - Bridging funding grant - Project Manager within UCD School of Medicine.

IPCOR - the Irish Prostate Cancer Outcomes Research (IPCOR) Project - is a clinically-led study that aims to improve the treatment and care of men diagnosed with prostate cancer in Ireland thus maximising their quality of life. Established in 2014 with funding from the Movember Foundation in partnership with the Irish Cancer Society, IPCOR captured clinical data and patient-reported information on men recently diagnosed with Prostate Cancer in 16 hospitals in Ireland.

Between 2016 and 2020, IPCOR collected clinical data from 6816 men diagnosed with prostate cancer in Ireland with up to 3 years' follow-up. Additionally, a subset of men were invited to fill out a PROMs questionnaire. IPCOR is one of a number of international initiatives by Movember to establish registries to allow for international benchmarking in prostate cancer care outcomes.

Fixed salary: € 72,857 per annum

Closing date: 17:00hrs (local Irish time) on 28 July 2021.
