Job Description

A Research Fellow is open in the research group of Dr Wang Xinchao, at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS).  

The Research Fellow will work closely with the Principal Investigator (PI) on one or more research projects.   

The successful candidate will join Dr Wang's research team working on computer vision and machine learning problems. He/she will contribute to

• To develop novel models and algorithms for learning evolutionary data association, especially for computer vision tasks.
• To lead the study of vision tasks, such as scene parsing, using pre-trained models.
• To prepare and meet the project deliveries and milestones.

Qualifications

• Possess a PhD degree in electrical engineering, computer science, or computer engineering
• Proven excellent research and publication record. At least four first-authored publications in top-tier AI conferences or journals.
• Has strong programming skills in one of the programming languages: c/c++, Matlab, Python
• Project experience and values excellent teamwork.
• Good written and spoken communication
• Open to fixed term contract
