Ulster University Business School (UUBS) wishes to appoint a Professor of Financial Technology
With over 5000 students and approximately 180 academic staff, UUBS is the sixth largest business school in the UK and Ireland and has worked intimately with businesses for over 40 years. This is a particularly exciting time for the faculty as we seek to deliver our implementation plans on the ambitious goals set out in the University’s Strategic Plan.
UUBS has an ambition to be the leading centre for entrepreneurial education, research, and impact in the UK. By developing critical skills, transforming opportunity, and strengthening business competitiveness, it is our ambition to make a lasting contribution to wider society. An important element of this aspiration is to deliver cutting edge research, teaching excellence and an enriched student experience built on ambition and innovation.
Entrepreneurial thinking and employability are fundamental to the learning experience at UUBS.
We strive to empower our students to be entrepreneurial in both thought and action; to think imaginatively; to look for opportunity in uncertainty; and to challenge current business practice. We pride ourselves on an outstanding track record of supporting business growth, research consultancy and knowledge transfer, underpinned by deep-rooted links with industry, professional associations, and government bodies.
We are proud to count many leading experts and practitioners among our teaching staff. UUBS has a long-standing relationship with Harvard Business School through their MOC network focused on competitiveness and has been collaborating with Babson College on entrepreneurial education for the past 15 years.
The University offers an attractive reward package including a competitive starting salary, access to an attractive pension scheme and financial assistance with relocation expenses where appropriate.
