Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow/Research Officer in the HKU Pasteur Research Pole of the School of Public Health (Ref.: 504351), to commence as soon as possible on a one-year temporary basis.
Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in medical sciences, immunology, virology, or a related discipline, with an established level of laboratory experience. They should have a good command of written and spoken English and a strong sense of responsibility. They should be attentive to details, and able to work independently to drive new research projects. Experience in human blood processing, small animal handling, tissue culture, serological and cell-based assays and flow cytometry would be advantageous. The appointee will carry out immunological assays, perform independent serological and virological experiments in influenza and SARS-CoV-2 research, write manuscripts and grants applications, and perform other duties as assigned.
