As the University continues to invest in the enhancement of the student experience, the School of Business & Enterprise would like to invite applications for the post of Education Guidance Adviser. 

The School of Business and Creative Industries offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses across our five UK campuses, abroad and via Distance Learning study. The School is continuing to make a significant investment support its strategic development over the next five years and to help further position the School as a key player locally, nationally and internationally.  

The postholder will report to the School Enhancement Developer and will work cohesively with existing education team colleagues and take forward the development of key interventions to support progression, retention and employability by identifying and managing these activities from pre-enrolment through to graduation.  

This will be a demanding role which will require excellent interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.  You will be flexible with a proactive and professional approach, with an ability to interpret complex information and to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. Excellent IT Skills are required.  

The successful candidate will work with the School Enhancement Developer and the School’s education team under the remit of the Deputy Dean and Business Manager to develop enhancement activity and then work with colleagues across the School and wider institution to implement activity effectively.
