Job description
The Assistant Technician is a member of the KHP Cancer Biobank within the School of Cancer and Pharmaceutical Sciences professional services team. The post holder will work with technical colleagues to ensure technical support for the School is professional, well-executed and timely – complying with university policies, funder’s terms and conditions, and adopting best practice.

The role requires some physical effort, which may be over a prolonged period.

Alongside the main transport role, the post holder will also provide ancillary support to the Biobank including stock control, equipment maintenance, filing samples and other administrative duties.
Full training will be provided and the post holder will be able to participate in continuing professional development. The post holder will have good communication skills and be able to work under pressure.
