Job Description

• Implementation of research ideas by writing code and running software based experiments
• Contribution to writing of research ideas
• Contribution to solving research problems
• Making presentations or poster to present research ideas
• Attend research project meetings

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Operations research, Electronics and Communication engineering or closely related computing focused disciplines
• Minimum 3 years of experience in programming (preferably Python) required
• Courses required: Data structures, algorithms, probability and statistics (or similar) with good grades
• At least 1 year of relevant research experience in deep learning technologies is highly preferred
• Proficiency in programming software/languages such as python
• Publicly available sample (e.g. on GitHub) of a significant coding project undertaken by the candidate is required
• Previous demonstrated research experience and coursework in AI/ML techniques such as automated planning, agent-based systems and reinforcement learning is highly preferred
• Familiarity and coursework in mathematical optimization techniques and tool such as Matlab, Cplex is highly preferred
• Demonstrated experience and know-how on deep learning technologies such as CNN
• Good analytical, technical and problem solving skills
