Job Description

The Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering (CEE) at the National University of Singapore invites applications for a Research Engineer position with demonstrated research experience in Environmental Science and Engineering or related fields.

The term of appointment shall be up to 12 months, with the possibility of extension. The remuneration and benefits are internationally competitive, and commensurate with qualifications and experience. Leave and medical benefits will be provided.

Requirements

• The ideal candidate will hold a B.Eng./M.Sc/M.Eng. degree in Engineering and/or Science with demonstrated experience in designing and conducting experiments, statistical data analysis and possess excellent quantitative, and analytical skills.
• The ideal candidate is expected to be self-motivated and have the ability to work in an interdisciplinary environment. It is important that you have an ability to work with minimal supervision, plan and perform experimental & field work, and present results in group meetings. You will work in an international environment and, therefore, very good oral and written communication skills in English are required.
• Good organisational skills and adaptability.
