CDU Waterfront Campus, Darwin

Apply your extensive law and teaching experience to contribute to the teaching and research profile of the Asia Pacific College of Business and Law.

We are a new world university. Like our namesake, Charles Darwin, we think differently. We innovate, embrace change, challenge conventions and look for better ways. We’re not about tradition or legacy, privilege or exclusivity. We cannot build a new world without diversity of thought, so we bring together people with unique perspectives in an inclusive and supporting learning environment to help them connect, discover and grow. This is the CDU difference.

As Professor of Law, you will support the development and delivery of innovative and contemporary education programs and build the research profile within the Law discipline at CDU. You will drive engagement and impact in research whilst also developing and teaching course units, utilising both on campus and flexible, online delivery modes.

To be successful you will demonstrate success in attracting competitive research funding and other income, exceptional research collaborations and partnerships, and high-quality research outputs. You will have a PhD in Law and hold or be eligible to hold a legal practicing certificate in an Australian jurisdiction. Your high-level communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to engage a wide range of audiences and work on collaborative endeavours and you’ll have an excellent track record of recruiting and supervising graduate research students.
