The successful candidate will undertake research in line with the School’s research strategy, teach at undergraduate and postgraduate level and contribute to School administration/outreach activity. Candidates should have:

  • Primary or higher degree in a relevant social science subject.
  • PhD or equivalent awarded or due for completion and to be awarded within one year of taking up post.
  • An emerging track record of publication in peer reviewed/refereed journals that are REF returnable and appropriate to subject and stage of academic career
  • Strong evidence of potential to generate external research income.
  • Experience of lecturing and tutoring at University level or equivalent in a relevant social science discipline.
