Job Description

A postdoctoral research position is available now in NUS Mechanical Engineering. The main objective is to develop advanced porous materials. The scope of research includes process development (e.g. colloidal processing, additive manufacturing, chemical/polymer synthesis) and materials characterisation. Previous hands-on experience and publications on porous materials and manufacturing processes are highly recommended. The Research Fellow will drive the research direction, conduct experiments, analyse results and publish scientific papers. Qualifications

The successful candidate should have a PhD degree (or expect the degree within 6 months) in Materials Science or Chemical/Mechanical Engineering, with demonstrated capabilities listed below:

• Porous polymer/ceramic, polymer composite;
• Colloidal processing, additive manufacturing, chemical/polymer synthesis;
• Creative, self-motivated, and good communication skills;
• Strong publication record.
