Job Description

A post-doctoral research fellow position is available now in Prof. Huangwei Zhang's Group in Department of Mechanical Engineering, National University of Singapore (NUS). The responsibility of this position is to numerically investigate the interactions between the flame front and fine water mists in laminar and turbulent flow environments.

Qualifications

The candidates are expected to:

1. hold a PhD degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, energy, applied mathematics, safety engineering, or related subjects.
2. be competent in code development using C/C++/Fortran for CFD or combustion numerical simulations.
3. have experience in OpenFOAM® package and parallel computing on HPC clusters.

The duration of this position will be firstly one year and can be extended to one year more based on the overall performance. The remuneration package offered will be competitive.
